Once you have decided which driver to install, click Next, Yes and wait for the installation to end.įinally you just need to select close, and close the device window.
You may want to try this with other drivers.
In the device manager my touchpad was called PS/2 Compatible Mouse, so I decided to try the Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad (which actually was a pretty good guess). Select Browse my computer for driver software, then Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer and uncheck Show compatible hardware.Īlmost done! Select Synaptics from the left picker and then choose a driver from the right list. Navigate to Driver and click on Update Driver. Anyways, just double click on the touchpad. The Razer Mamba is my external mouse so I knew PS/2 Compatible Mouse had to be my touchpad. I have got two entries here: PS/2 Compatible Mouse and Razer Mamba.
Navigate to Devices and scroll down to click on Device Manager (last link)
